Aleksander Semkowicz (1885-1954) - famous Lvov bookbinder, bibliographer, collector, senator in the Second Republic. After the war he settled in Cracow, later in Warsaw. He was the initiator of the creation of the Adam Mickiewicz Museum of Literature in Warsaw.
Henryk Bednarski (1907-1991) - born in Lviv, prominent Polish collector. After World War II, he exported most of his collection to Krakow.
