ADDITIONAL UNIQUE ILLUSTRATIONS
The 1848-49 Polish edition is a translation and elaboration of the 1821 German-language edition published in Prague. In the Prague edition of the history there are several illustrations which clearly differ from those in the Polish edition and relate to the lands inhabited by Poles. These illustrations are additionally included at the end of the book.
These include a visualization of a Knight of the Order of the White Eagle or an extremely decorative illustration of a Knight of the Order of St. Stanislaus.
The whole book is a tasty bibliophilic morsel, whose antiquarian value will only increase due to its scarce circulation - we recommend it as an excellent investment !!!!
