First Polish periodical for children and young people published in 1824-1828 by Klementyna Hoffmanowa, née Tańska.
Klementyna Hoffmanowa née Tańska[a] - Polish writer, prose writer, playwright, translator, editor, publisher, educator and social activist.
The magazine published, among other things, poems, fairy tales and stories for children, most of which were written by Tanska herself. The works usually had patriotic and educational overtones. Among the magazine's regular sections were national memoirs, novels and anecdotes about children, works for the formation of "heart and style," parables and news useful to mothers.
