Wraps lightly rubbed, two trocars missing at binding, cracked boards, good condition inside. The most important work of Henry Rantzau (1526-1599) - diplomat, architect, financier and astrologer, close friend of the astronomer Tycho Brache. The treatise deals with the calculation of horoscopes using astronomical data available at the time. This work juxtaposes the - often differing - views of astronomers and scholars like Cardano, Schoener, Ringelberg, as well as the 9th century Arab astronomer Albohali.
