R. M. 1887-1942 On August 21, 1942, Rudolf Mękicki passed away into eternity after a weary, creative [...] life [...]. He is no longer among the living and from the dead hand of the subtle artist the magic pencil has fallen out forever. And yet - non omnis mortuus est [...]. The text was arranged by Mieczyslaw Opałek. The drawing of the silhouette was made by Stanisław Mękicki. Lviv, on All Souls' Day 1942.
Print on 3 pp. form. 16.3x11.8 cm, remaining 1 p. blank. Print in memory of Rudolf Mękicki, Lviv artist. On the 10th anniversary of R. Meczicki's death, this publication (with minor changes) was reprinted in Gliwice. On the front page a profile of the deceased in a decorative frame. Good condition.
