H. Poswiatowska (1935-1967) - poet; she published her first poems in the pages of "Gazeta Czestochowska" in 1956, but considered her poems printed in the Cracow "Zebra" in 1957 to be her proper debut. Poświatowska's life and work were overshadowed by her serious heart disease; the poet fought it throughout her adult life, spending much of it in sanatoriums and hospitals. "Halina Poswiatowska's poetry is a study of human nature, a woman longing for love and a woman aware of her death" (Wikipedia).
