The work was highly acclaimed and contributed to a significant increase in interest in native nature and culture. Publisher's binding, made by the Cracow bookbinder Marceli Żenczykowski (signed on the back cover "M. Żenczykowski Introligator in Cracow"). Red cloth, embossed and gilded on the face one of the illustrations according to Kossak, gilded and blackened embossing around the illustrations. The edges of the pages gilded.
