PEIPER Tadeusz - Christopher Columbus the discoverer. Warsaw 1949; Czytelnik. 8, s. 264, [3]. Brochure. Good Book Club.
Good condition. Author's handwritten dedication to Jerzy Hordyński (poet and translator), rather puzzling: "To Jerzy Hordyński, who did not lose my basket of linens. Whether he saved it as well I do not yet know at the time I write this." Below, Peiper added: "Having made the translation, I give the final: saved". The dedication bears the date of Oct. 15, 1952 ("the apartment of the obedient"), with a note on Oct. 18.
