Naglerowa Herminia, born October 28, 1890, Zaliski near Brody, died October 9, 1957, London, writer. After the outbreak of World War II in Lvov, arrested, imprisoned in a gulag in Kazakhstan until 1941; then in the Women's Auxiliary Service of the Polish Army in the East, later in the Second Polish Corps, from 1946 in Great Britain; vice-president of the Association of Polish Writers Abroad; in her postwar works she analyzed the fate of people subjected to the trials of the camp, prison, investigation; short stories based on autobiographical themes.
