Good condition. Axel Munthe (1857- 1949) - Swedish physician and psychiatrist, writer. In his memoirs he combined the facts of his life with his own visions and reflections. As an 18-year-old student, he discovered the island of Capri in 1875, where he was enchanted by the tiny chapel of San Michele. He fell in love with this extraordinary place and for years dreamed of building a house there. He worked hard and finally succeeded in realizing his dream.
