First edition. An edition of 1000 pieces. Photographs by Edward Poznański. Cover designed by Studio Levitt-Him. This is the author's account of a trip to Palestine, where Jewish settlement and Zionist movements were developing rapidly at the time. The account comes alive with illustrative material consisting of full-page black-and-white photographs. Their author was Edward Poznanski, better known as a philosopher and mathematician, who also participated in building the foundations of the then still non-existent Jewish state. The cover, designed by Studio Levitt-Him, uses Poznański's photograph (excerpted from Jan Koczorowski's doctoral dissertation Jan Le Witt and Jerzy Him : life and work )
