Stanislaw Smostrzelnik [ca. 1490-1541] Polish painter, illuminator, miniaturist. His works can be found, among others, in Erazm Ciołek's Missal, prayer books of Sigismund I, Krzysztof Szydłowiecki, Queen Bona, Wojciech Gasztołd, chronicle of the Szydłowieckie family [Liber geneseos illustris familiae Schidloviciae"], Jan Długosz's work "Catalogus archiepiscoporum Gnesnensium". He is the author of the polychrome in the Cistercian abbey in Mogiła and the portrait of Bishop Tomicki in the cloisters of the Franciscan monastery.
