"The World" belongs today to the canon of Polish poetry. Fifty-six years after it was written, a bibliophilic edition has appeared, reproducing a manuscript booklet made by Milosz himself: eleven A3-size pages folded in half and written in dark blue ink. On the cover is listed as the author a certain B. B. Kózka, on its back it reads: "An edition of pieces 1". The publisher included at the end a sketch by Helen Vendler, critic, Harvard professor. Cover design and artwork by Tomasz Lec. Editor. Maria Rola. Condition b. good. Piece with a handwritten dedication by Czeslaw Milosz (on the preface sheet) Edition of 1000 num. copies, this one 0042.
