Owner's entry and stamps. Internally good condition. Uniform binding, leather splints on spines and corners. The Poet's activities as a lecturer were the subject of keen interest in Parisian circles and Polish opinion as a whole. However, the propaganda of Towianism caused the authorities to suspend Mickiewicz as a professor. Already contemporaries appreciated his ability to influence Polish and international opinion.
