Malwida von Meysenburg (born October 28, 1816, died April 23, 1903) - German writer.
Promoter of workers' and women's education. Befriended many prominent personalities
(Liszt, Nietzsche, Garibaldi, Rollan, Richard Wagner).
She wrote the book Memoirs of an Idealist Woman, which was published anonymously in 1869.
In 1901, von Meysenbug was the first woman nominated for the Nobel Prize for Literature.
