The noble Apache chief Winnetou and his white friend Old Shatterhand decide to prevent the vicious Comanches who want to attack the oasis inhabited by their friend Bloody Fox. In the process, they meet another famous hunter, Old Surehand, who hides some painful secret. Helping their new friend, they trek across boundless prairies, dangerous deserts and inaccessible mountains, hold nighttime scavenges, fight outlaws and hunt grizzly bears in the Rocky Mountains.
A famous novel about the adventures that befall the title character in the desert, at the oasis, in the Bear Valley and many other places he visits. It is a beautiful story about the friendship between him and the Apaches, who, if death had not separated them, would have held each other in high regard and love.
