A 740 page, A4 size, illustrated catalog (or rather encyclopedia) of English coins from 1066 to the present day with valuations for several states. The material is divided into hand-minted and milled (machine-minted) coins and presented in order of denomination; within each denomination, the coins are listed according to the reigning monarch. A new numbering system was used, allowing immediate identification of the issuing monarch and coin denomination. The book includes a list of mints (map) and an illustrated list (photos and drawings) of mintmarks of minted coins, mint figures, an index of coin designers and engravers, an extensive glossary, and a bibliography. In addition, it is a special limited edition of only 2,500 pieces.
