This publication is a review of Warsaw goldsmithing in the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries, prepared on the basis of the silver collection of the Historical Museum of the City of Warsaw. From this collection, 125 objects are presented in the catalog, illustrating as fully as possible the stylistic tendencies or the work of particular goldsmith workshops. These are the works of sixty goldsmiths active since the beginning of the 18th century, whose biographical notes-arranged alphabetically-complement this sketch.
