Etching form. 14x12.2 on ark. 19x18.8 cm. On the lower margin pencil signatures: "There will be a roof over your head" and "L. Lewicki 32". On the back handwritten dedication by the artist to "Mrs. Prokop". Browning of the upper margin of the sheet (tape trace), otherwise good condition.
Leopold Lewicki (1906-1973) - painter, graphic artist, co-founder of the Cracow Group. Author of expressive, grotesque prints (usually made using etching technique) with a social message, nudes, portraits. After World War 2, he realized mainly realistic woodcuts.
