Binding: maroon marocin with embossed and gilt superex-libris of Queen Maria Leszczyńska on both covers: coats of arms of France and the Republic of Poland (Polish Eagle and Lithuanian Pogo, in the middle Leszczyński's coat of arms Wieniawa), all topped with royal crown. Gold border on the edges of the covers. Six-panel spine with gilt title. Gilt edges of pages. Prayer book for Holy Week, dedicated to Queen Mary Leszczynska. Piece unique because it comes from the library of Queen Marie Leszczynska (1703-1768), daughter of King Stanislaw Leszczynski, wife of King Louis XV of France. Traces of non-moisture and soiling, binding with scuffs and rubbed corners.
