Thebook features seven signature illustrations by Edmund Dulac, a highly regarded British-French artist who illustrated Charlotte Brontë's Jayne Eyre, The Bells and Other Poems by Edgar Allan Poe and Stories by Hans Christian Andersen, among others. Dulac was one of the designers of the Wilding series stamps, which were the first stamps of Queen Elizabeth II's reign.
