He is rarely at home (on Earth), spending most of his time traveling.The term Star Diaries actually refers to Ijon Tichy's travels, possibly his memoirs. However, it is possible to qualify for the Diaries..., as a series, all works treating Tichy and his universe.
In 2013, an asteroid was named after Tichy - 343000 Ijontichy.
