L. Kowalski (1870-1937) - painter and graphic artist, pupil of W. Łuszczkiewicz and L. Wyczółkowski at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, he also studied in Munich and Paris, co-founder of the Zero Group, Native Art and the Cracow Circle of Graphic Artists.
