Good condition, some soiling and small tears on covers. One of the most important works on wooden highland architecture, based on two years of research and inventory of over 160 cottages in Zawoja near Babia Góra (in 1929 and 1930). It meticulously describes traditional construction techniques, architectural elements and details and their ornamentation, as well as farm buildings in the central part of the village and in the high altitude hamlets. The work is illustrated with 103 drawings on plates and 15 photographs.
