(KOSSAK Wojciech) Jurata promissory note dated August 23, 1939.
A promissory note for the amount of 1000 zloty issued by the painter Wojciech Kossak, dated. Jurata, 23 VIII 1939 , payable on 15 XII 1939 in Cracow at Plac Kossaka 4. On the obverse in the lower right corner handwritten signature: Maria Kossakowa, on the reverse handwritten signature: Wojciech K ossak. Promissory note blotter with 3 zloty stamp duty sigil. Size: 11 x 28 cm.
On the obverse four stamps: "Jurata Uzdrowisko na półwyspie Helu S. A.", Polski Bank Komercyjny S. A., two from the German occupation period. On the reverse side, annotations of resignation of priority..., dates. Warsaw September 1, 1939 and December 12, 1939 (stamp from Jurata and from the bank). Attached and officially stamped "bill of exchange protest" (11 x 59 cm in size) to the aforementioned bill of exchange, with a notary's stamp confirming the finding of a closed apartment and annotations and bank stamps. Traces of folding and creasing, in the place of the signatures of Wojciech and Zofia Kossak three indistinct erosions being a certificate of repayment of the promissory note.
