Memoirs of Stanislaw Kopanski (born May 19, 1895 in St. Petersburg, died March 23, 1976 in London) - Polish engineer, major general of the Polish Armed Forces, and one of the most famous Polish generals of World War II (including commander of the Carpathian Brigade). Covers the period of his service in the Russian army, his participation in the Polish I Corps in the East, the defense of Lvov against the Ukrainians, the Vilnius expedition of 1919, the 1920 campaign against the Bolsheviks and the period of his service in the Polish Army in the interwar period.
