"The most comprehensive selection of poems of all the volumes to date, with the exception of the last two by Konopnicka, was the six-volume edition Poetry in a New Arrangement. Submitted to Gebethner and Wolff as early as 1901, it had to, as it was intended for distribution in the Russian partition, go through severe censorship, which significantly delayed its appearance in print. It finally saw the light of day in a much truncated version in 1902-1904 in Anczyc's printing house in Cracow.
