(Estr. does not note). A work on genethliakon. Genethliakon - a song of praise on the occasion of the birth of a child or on the anniversary of the birth of a person usually widely known. It is a genre attested since the time of Callimachus (3rd century BC); sometimes lyrical, dramatic or rhetorical in nature, and today still practiced in many languages of the world. Christoph Köler (1602-1658) - a Breslau poet and writer of the Baroque, a disciple of Martin Opitz and continuator of his Baroque poetic reforms, author of his biography. George Rudolf of Legnica (1595-1653) - Duke of Leg nica , humanist, patron of the arts, composer and poet; starosta general of Silesia. George Rudolf was a well-educated ruler and supported the development of culture and science. He is especially known as the creator of a magnificent book collection - Biblioteca Rudolphina. At his court he gathered outstanding scholars, composers and poets like Martin Opitz and Friedrich von Logau, who often found asylum in Legnica as religious refugees. .
