On the front pasteboard, a handwritten dedication by Jadwiga Zamojska (1831-1923) to Natalia Kicka, née Bisping (1806-1888), a social and patriotic activist, pioneer of Polish archaeology and numismatics, as well as a diarist. "Hours", which was the subject of the gift, contains in the diary section of "Souvenirs de Famille" several historical entries in French, bearing the dates: 8 XII 1831, 19 V. 1844, 29 III 1845, 8 IV 1845 or 23 II. 1846 (the entries were probably made in the 2nd half of the 19th century). Antoni Sulkowski, Luisa Bisping and Teodor Mycielski are mentioned here. On a separate page, Natalia Kicka noted the death of her husband Ludwik Kicka of the Gozdawa coat of arms (1791-1831), a Polish general who died on May 26 at the Battle of Ostroleka during the November Uprising.
