Abrasions, unpaginated and traces of staining on binding, on pages in places un. Rust spots on pages, otherwise good condition internally. The works are preceded by a biography of Franciszek Karpinski, by Kazimierz Brodzinski. Contains, among others, Devotional Songs; Idylls; Songs (book I, II and III); Miscellaneous Poems; Remaining Writings of F. Karpiński, which were not included in any edition of his works. Franciszek Karpinski (1741-1825) - Polish poet of the Age of Enlightenment, memoirist, playwright, translator, publicist, moralist, creator and main representative of the sentimental current in Polish lyric poetry.
