The engravings reproduced in this calendar depict some of the best work of the Flemish engraver Justus Sadeler. The originals Come from the collection of the Cabinet of Engravings of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences. The series of works was called by the artist : " Four-legged animals of all kinds true and very artful drawings on copper engraved and published ".
