WIERZYŃSKI Kazimierz - Wolność tragiczna. Warsaw 1936. bookstore Atlas. 8, s. 60, [3]. Broch.
Good condition. Volume of poems. First edition. on the front cover, Lvov and Warsaw are given as the place of publication. "The volume is devoted to the struggle to regain Polish independence and the role of Jozef Pilsudski. The poems are arranged chronologically. The volume was part of the construction of the cult of Jozef Pilsudski. Most of the works are written in the convention of role lyric, in which the subject is Pilsudski himself. He appears as a loner, a figure surpassing his own nation and trying, rather unsuccessfully, to set it on the road to greatness" (Wikipedia).
