Good condition. Preserved back cover of brochure. Habilitation dissertation of a prominent Polish otolaryngologist. "He studied medicine in Greifswald and Würzburg. In 1877 he received his habilitation at the Ruprecht and Charles University in Heidelberg. In 1880, he became a professor of laryngology at the university and the first Pole to receive a professorship at the university. He worked there for 28 years. In 1908 he moved to Lvov [...], where he headed the Otolaryngology Clinic until 1920. After Poland regained independence, he became [...] the first rector of this Lviv university, renamed Jan Kazimierz University. In 1920 he moved to Poznan and taught at the university established there. He was regarded as a good practitioner and didactician. Antoni Jurasz was one of the pioneers of rhinoscopy - he constructed or modified many instruments used in it" (Wikipedia).
