I. Costumes and types of Polish highlanders (17 plates).
II. Monuments of ecclesiastical and folk culture and art in Podhale (23 plates).

The bookplate (designed by J. Pieniazek) was made by the Lviv bookbinding workshop of W. J. Romanowski.
State of preservation: stains of the cover (especially of the back part). Minor soiling of some boards, most preserved in very good condition. Minor bends in the corners of some of the pages with text. Folds of some blotters. Rust spots on the blotters.
Józef Pieniążek (1888-1953) - Polish painter, graphic artist. In 1908-13 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, among others. Under Józef Pankiewicz and Leon Wyczółkowski. He specialized in metal graphic techniques (etching, aquatint). He died in 1953 in Cracow.
