Time. BJ 4, 178. Transverse page crease, scuffs in places, paper yellowed. Issue from the first period of publication of the first Polish magazine devoted to jazz after the war. The monthly began to come out in II 1956 on the wave of thaw heralding the events of October '56, initially in Gdansk and in large format. Later, the editorial staff moved to Warsaw, the format was reduced, and the care of the magazine was taken over by the Polish Jazz Association. Issues 1-18 were published in folio format. This issue contains, among other things: "We are getting to the kingdom of syncopation", "I am not an enemy of jazz, but...", "What we call jazz music", "In Olympia played Armstrong".
