[KatarzynaHERBERT ]. Set of 6 letters from Katarzyna Herbert, wife of Zbigniew, to Halina and Zdzislaw Najder, 1966-1968.
Three manuscript letters on letter paper, one manuscript letter on postcard, two letters in typescript, signed by the author. Letters dated 18 August 1966 (St. Briac), 16 May 1967 (Paris), 5 July 1968 (Berlin), 3 November 1968 (Paris), 7 November 1968 (Paris), 30 November 1968 (Berlin). The broadcaster writes about a vacation spent with Herbert (not yet her husband) in Brittany, thanks him for a check enabling him to pay for a rented house, writes about his efforts to obtain a consular passport ("of course, through patronage"), the completion of his treatment ("Zbyszek's energy, willingness to work, inspiration, character returned!"), the rented apartment in Berlin ("it's as good here as it's been for me for a long time"), her husband ("He almost doesn't drink - sometimes and without exaggeration. On the other hand, he lost 8 kg. We gave all our pants a makeover"). Staying out of the country for a longer period of time, he writes: "To Poland I think we are returning hard (but I have to ask Zbyszek about this for certainty)". Very good condition.
