Wrappers rubbed, spine discolored, taped loss of a portion of the right margin of the title page, traces of moisture in the lower corner of some pages, nevertheless overall good condition; missing pre-title page. Deleted bibliot. stamps. The entire body of writings was published in two volumes - the first in three parts, the second in two, between 1837 and 1840. The presented part three of the second volume is:"On the new French literature called mad literature (La litterature extravagante)".
M. Grabowski (1804-1863), pseud. Edward Tarsza - novelist, publicist and literary critic. Friend of Józef Bohdan Zaleski and Seweryn Goszczyński. Associated with magazines and weeklies such as Astrea, Dziennik Warszawski, Tygodnik Petersburski, Rusalka, Pielgrzym and Józef Ignacy Kraszewski's Athenaeum. He became famous for his collection of studies 'Lteratura i krytyka' (1837-1840), in which he presented his own program of national literature and romantic poetry.
