Leopold Gottlieb (1879-1934) - painter, who came from an artistically talented family. In 1896-1902 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow under Jacek Malczewski and Teodor Axentowicz. In 1904 he settled permanently in Paris. (Wikipedia).
