Missing from Polish library catalogs. - Brochure on the institutions (savings banks) in the Second Republic of Poland and the savings habits of the Polish people, published in German in Solothurn, Switzerland. The author extensively characterizes various capital institutions, such as postal savings banks, land and agricultural banks, credit societies, cooperatives, etc. In doing so, he does not hide his admiration for the thrift and ingenuity of Poles, to which he attributes the country's relatively rapid development despite the low saturation of capital after World War I. The work opens with a motto taken from President Moscicki about thrift. - Slight pinching and bending of corners, otherwise bdb condition. On the cover, a handwritten annotation and the initial of Piotr Zaremba (1910-1933), the first president of Polish Szczecin; on the title page, a handwritten annotation from the time, dated April 29, 1934.
