All endowments and confirmations granted to Poles in Galicia during the years of partition became the subject of legal, genealogical and heraldic analysis. This allowed the author to present all actual endowments from 1776-1918. The considerations are based on materials collected in the archives of the Court Chancellery in Vienna and the c.k. Ministry of the Interior, nobility department. An important element is the images of the bestowed coats of arms coming either from the original diplomas or from the minutes of the same, stored in the Allgemeine Verwaltungsarchiv in Vienna" (From the DiG Publishing House website).
