Warsaw, Główna Księgarnia Wojskowa, pp. 178+78+40, 25.5 x 31, half cloth binding of the period. Foreword and photos from the collection of the Tourism Department of the Ministry of Communications selected by Ferdynand Goetel, graphic design by Anatol Girs and Boleslaw Barcz. The album contains photograms by leading Polish photographers, (S. Kolowcy, S. Mucha, J. Bulgak, H. Poddębski, F. Rapf, J. Jaroszyński, J. Tomaszewski, Z. Chomętowska, Photo-Plat agency, PAT, Girs-Barcz company), 178 pages. In addition to the photographic section, it contains a tourist guide with brief data on attractive tourist destinations -78 pages, and an extensive section of economic publications - 40 pages. Captions under the illustrations in 4 languages.

A monumental, beautifully designed travel album depicting landscapes, historical places and contemporary events in Poland in the 1930s. The photographs selected by Ferdynand Goetel came from the collection of the Department of Tourism of the Ministry of Transportation. At the time, pre-war photographers were the leading specialists in travel photography - from them the ministry obtained photos for promotional and propaganda purposes.
