The author of this study was Agaton Giller - journalist, conspirator, Siberian exile, member of the National Government during the January Uprising. The whole work was planned for 10 volumes, of which only four have been published, offered here.
The first two volumes constitute a critical dissection of works previously published and promulgated on the uprising based on the author's personal experiences and experiences, while the other two volumes include "A glance at the times after the fall of the November Uprising," that is, based on the accounts and testimonies of participants, describe the independence movements that took place between 1831 and 1856.
A valuable source for the history of the January Uprising.
