Witold Gawęcki (1911-1946) - Polish illustrator, painter, stage designer, illustrator and graphic artist.
He graduated in painting and graphic arts from the State School of Decorative Arts in Poznań (1934). Among other things, he designed book illustrations, exlibrises, book designs, caricatures for magazines ("Głos Wielkopolski"), mock-ups, as well as portraits and still lifes.
