E. M. Lunkiewicz (1894-1967) - painter, member of the Modern Artists group and the Professional Artists' Block. In the period 1921-1924 she studied at Ecole Nationale des Arts Decoratifs. After returning from France, she settled in Warsaw. From the beginning of her activity, she was closely associated with the circles of the artistic avant-garde. In the late 1920s and early 1930s, her works showed the influence of the purism of Ozenfant and Jeanneret, she also drew on the experience of Cubism, and in the postwar years she created abstract compositions.
