Lion Feuchtwanger, actually Jacob Arje, pseudonym "J.L. Wetcheek" (born July 7, 1884 in Munich, died December 21, 1958 in Los Angeles) - German writer of Jewish descent, author of historical novels and popular biographical and historical novels, as well as dramas that inspired the work of Bertolt Brecht.
