"The Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, also known as the Hitler-Stalin Pact, is undoubtedly one of the causes of the Third Reich's aggression against Poland and, consequently, the outbreak of World War II. However, it is not just one document with a secret protocol. Many documents were produced at a later date to 'whitewash' the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics from charges of collaboration with Nazi Germany.
