Wraps scuffed, somewhat tattered and dusty. Taking advantage of the relaxation of Russian censorship after the outbreak of World War 1, on December 13, 1914, a performance was organized at Warsaw's Grand Theater to honor Wyspianski's memory, with the participation of, among others, Jozef Kotarbinski, director of the Cracow premieres of "The Wedding" and "Liberation," and well-known actors: Juliusz Osterwa, Władysława Ordon-Sosnowska and Michał Tarasiewicz, while the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts hosted an exhibition of 50 Wyspiański paintings from private Warsaw collections. The occasion also marked the publication of the featured one-volume publication. It contained poems and reproductions of Wyspianski's paintings, texts: Zdzislaw Dębicki, Jozef Kotarbinski, Adam Grzymala-Siedlecki and Julian Machlejd, Waclaw Rohowski, a program of the performance at the Grand Theater and a list of paintings from Zacheta.
