Two ex-librises by Wladyslaw Skoczylas (tintype according to woodcut) printed from the same plate form. 8x5 on ark. 10.9x7.5 and 9.2x6.3 cm. Sorrowful Christ, in the background a setting sun. Prints in bronze and black. Ekslibrises unsigned. Very good condition
L. Skoczylas (1881-1961) - educator, literary and theater critic, brother of Wladyslaw
W. Sko czylas (1883-1934) - graphic artist, painter, creator of the Polish school of wood engraving, co-founder of the art groups "Rytm" and "Ryt".
