Stanislav Dumin, a Russian herald and genealogist, has already earned a well-deserved reputation among Polish readers. His works on the genealogy of borderland families and the derivation of nobility in the Russian partition are held in high regard not only by amateurs of noble genealogy. Dumin's latest work treats an issue still insufficiently penetrated. The first, since Dziadulewicz, heraldry of Tatar families carries a lot of new genealogical information. The book presents biographies of almost 200 families and more than 90 color images of Tatar coats of arms. The book should definitely be in every heraldic book collection.
