A nice piece. Near fine condition, some rubbing to corners of binding, upper page edges stained. Exlibris by Bruno Konczakowski. Vignettes decorated by Władysław Jastrzębski. Source monograph devoted to the history of the Potocki family, especially the figure of Stanislaw Szczęsny-the founder of Krystynopol, who died in 1702. It also contains a corridor of names and localities and a bibliography of Krystynopol and the Potocki family. In 1692 Feliks Kazimierz Potocki - Great Hetman of the Crown and Voivode of Cracow - founded a town on part of the lands of today's Czerwonogrod, which he named in honor of his wife Krystyna of Lubomirska - Krystynopol, and made it his headquarters.
